What if I told you we booked our flights, Airbnb, car rental the day before… would you believe me? 🤣

Well we did!!! And I had to come up with a plan of things to do with the kids while Jaren went to SEMA.
The trip was just suppose to be for Jaren and Jaxton but when we found out kids under 16 can’t attend SEMA we had to either book everyone to go or just send Jaren on his own.

SO we decided to make a quick trip out of it!
Las Vegas is definitely a tourist town! The amount of different languages I heard while walking around was crazy cool! I felt like we were in another country. 🙃

Ferry Boat ⛴️ or Small Plane 🛩️
- Either will work if you book a plane ride to the island you need to hire a horse carriage to pick you up ahead of time to take you from the airport to downtown.
- Shepler’s Ferry has 2 ports to choose from: Saint Ignace Port in Upper Peninsula Michigan and Mackinaw City Port in Northern Michigan.
We found that the Mackinaw City ferry boat was more crowded than Saint Ignace Ferry boat. (Book in advance)

Grab a snack or drink before you set off to ride on bikes around the island.

Rent your bikes hourly here at the only locally owned bike rental shop. Electric bikes are not permitted on the island. You can also bring your own manual bikes on the island for a fee as well.
We used ours for 2 hours and that was plenty of time to ride around. Then we explored everything else on foot.

Be sure to call the taxi dispatch office to reserve your carriage. Children 5-12 years old are half the adult fare price.

You can request to take a self guided tour for $12/adult and enjoy the grounds while learning about the history of the building. Pick up your pamphlet at the front of the hotel with the valet attendant.

We have love taking out our bikes and cruising around paved bike paths or the RV resorts streets.
Especially when the weather is cooling down and the leaves are changing.
Autumn 🍂 is definitely one of my favorite seasons to enjoy spending outside doing all the activities!

Extra things to know about this coach:
The Ventana 4310 has a tag axel which helps to take easier turns as all the wheels move as you turn.
Below the RV there are so many bay doors with ample amount of storage for all your camping gear!
There is an emergency exit in the back bathroom behind the toilet.

We live fulltime in our Motorhome and love checking out more RV’s that would be great for full time travel! Follow along as we share more of these RV’s from motorhomes to trailers!

Travel days just got a whole lot easier in the Motorhome thanks to @genyhitch !!!

Ever since we bought our Motorhome we have had a little fear in the back of our minds about our OEM receiver hitch snapping!
It’s an absolute real thing and there are instances where it has happened to others. We wanted to take better precautions to protect our vehicle we tow behind the motorhome and others driving on the road.

A few years back we had the Torsion Flex King Pin installed on our 5th wheel and it was a game changer!! We would be driving our truck and look back real quick because the ride was so smooth we needed to make sure the 5th wheel was still there!!! And it was!

We knew we wanted to get back to the Gen-Y family and when we found out there was a hitch option for motorhomes… we knew we needed to upgrade!

After a few measurements and waiting for it to be custom built for our unit.. our hitch was built and ready for install!

The kiddos got to experience what it’s like to fly in the sky!!
There’s just something about the freedom to take off and land anywhere… just a little like paramotoring!
Such a fun experience to be able to share my love of flying with the kids.
